Here's what you'll be doing: Key Responsibilities: Programming and setting up CNC milling machines to perform various machining and cutting operations. Utilizing CAD/CAM software as well as hand coding. Taking corrective action and adjusting offsets as needed to ensure parts are within specification limits.

Working under the general direction of the department supervisor with minimal supervision. Making changes to machine offsets and replacing worn or broken tooling. Assisting with program management and ensuring proper documentation on work orders.

Visually inspecting parts for defects at specified intervals and conducting required quality checks. Reading and understanding written work instructions. Instructing others on machine setup and operation.

Participating in team meetings and collaborating effectively with team members. Actively engaging in continuous improvement activities to help the team achieve goals related to quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale. Learning and applying basic computer skills required to complete work orders.

Experience reading blueprints and using precision gauging equipment, such as micrometers and calipers.
